I’ve been quite bad at keeping up with this topic here at MyMidtownMojo.com. I hope this is not the reason.

I actually took this picture in May of this year. As I was getting my morning coffee, and my morning going, I glanced out the window. This picture did not really capture the essence, but it reminded me of say a coastal area where you get the low lying fog/mist and it starts to burn off in the morning sun.

This picture reminds me of that movie…..just behind these poppies is where my family home once stood…until it was destroyed by fire in 2005….
….blogging has made me try and capture more moments via my camera…since you don’t have to wait for the film, and you can take a trip down memory lane anytime you want.
I just need to remember to take even MORE pictures than I do…..

Speechless Sunday – A My Midtown Mojo Feature
What is that phrase, a picture is worth a thousand words? Indeed. Since I’ve started blogging, I’ve taken more of a “note” of the area around me, and try to capture it in pictures. I can now walk past some places and say, “I remember when that was (fill in the blank)” and I have the picture to prove it!
So today, we will start a new feature at MyMidtownMojo called, Speechless Sunday. Now, speechless implies that nothing is said. So, most of the time, don’t expect any words from me, just a picture of a moment in time captured.
