2016 Year End Market Report
There was a slight decrease in the number of homes sold at Mid City Lofts in 2016. A total of 6 homes were sold vs. the 8 homes that sold in 2015.
For 1-bedroom homes, the Average Sales Price increased 11% from $201,650 to $224,667. Homes were on the market a tad longer at 36 Average Days vs. the 26 in 2015.
For 2-bedroom homes, the Average Sales price increased a dramatic 24% from $307,500 to $382,000. The Average Days on Market decreased dramatically from 68 days to 21 days. It’s worthy to note that in 2016, there was one 2-bedroom home that sold for $$682,500, but that was not included in the above averages. If included, the Average Sales price would have been $480,333. But since this home was not a typical 2-bedroom we did not include it in our averages. Also of note, in 2015, the two homes that sold….one was on the market for 2 days….and the other for 135 days.
