Taylor Morrison Homes purchased the unfinished lots in this development, located just over the city limits of Doraville, actually in Peachtree Corners. (A zip code search will bring up the Doraville zip code, so we are torn to say where they are.) The original developer built just 23 homes, and then probably went bankrupt during the housing crisis. Enter Taylor Morrison who just had their Grand Opening in February, 2016 and will build 116 homes to finish out the community. They will also complete an amenities package that will feature a pool area.

Located off Buford Highway, the community is just over the Dekalb/Gwinnett county line. So physically, by city limits, the community is located in Peachtree Corners. The mailing zip code is Doraville (30340).

The location is convenient to many of the corporate job locations where you might work. Between I-85 and Peachtree Industrial Blvd (GA 141) you have great access to head North to Norcross and Gwinnett County, as well as on 141 to Alpharetta. Located just outside I-285 (The Perimeter) you have easy access to everything at the Perimeter Mall area including Ravina, and State Farm's new corporate center.

On the map above, inside The Perimeter, between 141 and Buford Highway (GA 23) is the new Assembly Doraville project. Also, this is the end of the Gold Line on MARTA, so if you work in Midtown or Downtown, you can also use transit instead of the freeways to get to work. How convenient is that! Shopping is not in the immediate area, but options are close by in Chamblee and Doraville for grocery stores and other retail options. Buford Highway through Doraville and Chamblee is an International dining delight and you will find all kinds of cuisine!

The closest Kroger is located at Embry Hills Shopping Center at I-285 and Chamblee-Tucker Road. Currently, there is a Whole Foods Market under construction on Peachtree Blvd (GA141) in Chamblee that will be close by. And the future Assembly Doraville project has many potentials.

Shopping is around in several directions, via I-285 to Northlake Mall or Perimeter Mall (probably your better choice!)

And as mentioned, the Doraville MARTA station is close by to offer up transit to Midtown and Downtown events as well as to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport!
